Eric Garner

One man condemned
To an early grave;
Ten thousand more to hell--
Champions and defenders both
Shout how killing's swell.

Two men lauded
For "some justice done".
Hundreds more are crying--
Families and strangers both
For their murdered son.

Dozens proclaim
Rampant injustice;
Dozens more deny it--
Teachers and preachers both
Shout how killing's swell.

A hundred march,
Burn, shout, and suffer.
Two watch television,
Laughing and cheering, both,
At their murdered son.

Ten thousand damned
For indurate glee,
One's murderers walk free
As the innocent cigarette
Lay on the cold concrete.

Black Lives Matter, bitch.
